Biography

Bobbye is a Licensed Independent Social Worker whose top priority is creating a safe space for each person that comes into her office. Bobbye graduated from Cleveland State University in 2017 with her Master of Social Work and has over 15 years of experience working with clients with mental health and substance use disorders.

 

She works with teens, families and adults. Bobbye takes a client centered approach and meets each person where they’re at. She likes to address how the mind and body work together. She uses evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. Bobbye has experience working with mood and thought disorders, substance use and addiction issues, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, depression and anxiety.
 

Bobbye loves being a part of each client’s journey and helping them be the best version of themselves while understanding that the process is unique for everyone.
 

Outside of work Bobbye loves shopping, bird watching, her cats and music. She is the proud mom of a daughter.
