Katrina Arroyo, M.Ed, LPCC-S, LICDC-GAMB, ICGC-1

Outpatient Therapist

Katrina Arroyo is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Gambling Endorsement. She is also an International Certified Gambling Counselor (ICGC). Katrina earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University in 2017.

 

Katrina specializes in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, with a particular focus on gambling disorder and gambling-related harm. She is dedicated to providing education, prevention, and therapeutic support to individuals and families affected by gambling. Her approach integrates evidence-based interventions, cultural responsiveness, and a trauma-informed lens to support recovery and wellness.
 

With a passion for advocacy and education, Katrina also engages in professional training and community outreach to raise awareness about the intersection of gambling, mental health, and social determinants of health. Her work emphasizes accessibility, inclusivity, and person- centered care to promote healing and empowerment across diverse communities.
 

When she’s not helping clients, you can often find Katrina playing in the dirt with her ever- evolving garden and houseplant collection or pestering her cats for love and affection.
