Biography

Sara is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has been with Psych and Psych Services since 2018. She earned her Master of Arts in Community Counseling with a concentration in Christian Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2010. She has been practicing for approximately 15 years and has experience in both community organizations and private practice. She primarily works with children, families, and adults who struggle with a variety of mental health issues. Sara uses a holistic person-centered approach which addresses all aspects of her client’s lives: spiritual, emotional, and physical. Sara utilizes multiple techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoeducation, Parenting Skills, and Motivational Interviewing throughout the course of therapy with her clients. She has experience working with a variety of concerns such as anxiety, depression, spiritual/faith issues, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. Sara aims to create a safe and welcoming space for therapy, driven by each client's individual goals and needs.
